I told you I would get some photos once the grape flower showed itself. Like I said, not anything that Akira Kurosawa would have made into short film. But beautiful none the less to grape farmers and wine makers alike. Crazy to think that it is June 1st, and the Chardonnay is just flowering. Looks like Thanksgiving day for the Cab and Mourvedre in 2011. A long, long harvest awaits. But if it is anything like the long harvest quality of 2010, I'll take it.
I met you at your tasting at the Redondo Beach Total Wines last month. We discussed the possibility of you speaking at one of our future Northrup Grumman Enology Club Friday Tasting events.
I hope you are still open to that possibility.
Our club is approximately 125 members of which 50-75 normally attend our Friday tastings once a month.
So I want to work with you so that you can make the trek down to Redondo Beach when it is convenient for you.
So is it too early to "pencil in" a Friday in Jan, Feb, March or May in 2012? Of course we want to stay away from your harvest times so the fall would more than likely not be good for you.
Can we look forward to you speaking wine geek stuff at our club next year?

And if I am up in your area in Aug, I will definitely stop by to say HI. Thank you
